Massachusetts
Effective April 1, 2008 insurance companies will be permitted to set their own auto insurance rates subject to approval by the MA Commissioner of Insurance. This means that a quote for the same coverages from different companies will now vary based on your unique situation. Companies can now use a variety of factors to determine the best rate for each individual driver however, they can not use sex, marital status, race, creed, national origin, age (except safe drivers over 65), occupation, income, education, homeownership and credit history. Many of the Group Discounts available under the fixed rating system will still be used by companies in the new managed competition system however now companies will be offering new discounts and enhancements.
We represent three of the largest auto insurance carriers in the state and are confident that we can offer you the best coverage and service at the most competitive price. There are many changes taking place for MA drivers and we are always here to answer your questions, please call us at 978-352-8000 or email us for more information.

Private passenger auto insurance rates vary widely between companies. The state does not regulate rates. We have very competitive N.H. auto insurance rates for safe drivers.
Coverages, Limits and Deductibles
The most important coverages are bodily injury liability and property damage liability. They protect you against lawsuits due to the negligent ownership, maintenance and use of your vehicle. Purchase limits that will adequately protect your assets.
Uninsured and underinsured motorists coverages protect you, household members and passengers against losses caused by an uninsured, underinsured, or hit and run drivers. Purchase limits equal to your bodily injury liability coverage.
Collision pays for damage to your car, less deductible, no matter who causes the accident. Comprehensive pays for damage to or loss of your car, less deductible, caused by fire, theft, vandalism, flood, flying objects, but not a collision. We recommend a minimum collision and comprehension deductible of $500. Cancel collision and comprehension coverage once the cost exceeds 10% of the book value of your car.
