All You Ever Wanted to Know About Insurance

Goodbye Summer 2020!

All things must come to an end, and the summer season is no exception. And although it feels like it only just started, the changing of seasons is quickly approaching. If the thought of falling leaves and that extra layer of clothing has you feeling panicky consider squeezing the last glorious moments of summer with our end of the season bucket list! So keep your shorts (and those flip-flops) on and check out some of our easy ways to get the most out of the last days of summer!

  • Go Get Ice Cream – nothing says summer like that extra scoop or the added sprinkles on top.
  • Wash Your Car- traveled a lot this summer? Save some cash and wash your car yourself! Wear a bathing suit and turn it into a fun way to cool off during a hot day.
  • Travel by Tube- find a river, hop on a float and spend your day on your own “lazy” river. Make sure to put your keys, phone and any other valuables in a water-proof baggie!
  • Take a Bike Ride- throw on that helmet and start pedaling. With cycling becoming the “go-to” mode of transport these days it’s super easy to get around. Bonus points if you cycle to the beach!
  • Make a Fresh Bouquet- whether you grow your own or hit up a local farm, nothing compares to fresh cut flowers. Take extra time to arrange them in your favorite vase or mason jar!
  • Read Outdoors- take a break from the constant glare of your phone and t.v. and treat yourself to a break outside with a great book. For added relaxation invest in a hammock and turn that reading sesh into a much deserved nap.
  • DIY Popsicles- feeling like making something sweet but don’t want to turn on the oven? Try making your very own popsicles!
  • Take A Hike- living in New England has many benefits but being close to nature is definitely on the top of the list. With numerous hiking trails (for all levels of experience) there are options for everyone! Be sure to pack enough snacks, bug spray, and water for whatever adventure you take.
  • Plan a Picnic- whether you choose to use an old-fashioned wicker basket overflowing with wine and cheeses or a simple cooler with sandwiches and chips, eating outside definitely continues the summer time feel.
  • Make a Memory Shadow Box- collected seashells at the beach? Or scooped up some leaves from a memorable stroll through the woods? Shadow boxes are a beautiful way to preserve and display your favorite mementos for years to come.
